The Laigu glacier group lies near Ranwu Lake in eastern Tibet. Several glaciers descend from the surrounding mountains, with ice towers, glacier lakes and tongues of ice creating a varied landscape. Laigu village is associated with views across the glacier group. Forest and alpine lakes add to the area's distinctive setting.
